Yadollah Kaboli

Iranian master Yadollah kaboli was born in 1950 in the city of Khansar, but moved to Tehran at a very early age. He started his engagement with calligraphy at the age of 17 and learned the Nastaliq style under Hassan Mirkhani. His attempt to revitalize the Shekasteh style of Persian calligraphy had a major impact on the art form. An inductee in Iran’s Science and culture hall of fame, his work has been exhibited all around the world, namely in Pakistan, UK, France, Italy and USA. He has also spoken in academic settings in Harvard, Oxford, and The Canadian Parliament, among other places.
