QARMAD MOHAMED

Born in 1950, Qarmad Mohamed is a Moroccan Calligrapher and painter. A graduate of higher Academy of Arts in Brussels, he’s a professor at the department of Calligraphy and Graphic arts. His work includes the calligraphy of Quran for Moroccan television as well as exhibitions, calligraphy on Moroccan bank notes, both temporary and permanent, in various museums and galleries. His awards include Grand Prize King Mohammed IV for Arabic Calligraphy and Grand prize in honor of calligraphy work in Beijing
