Omar Al Jamni
- Omar Al Jamani, born in 1957, is a Tunisian Calligrapher and Graphic designer. Adept at both traditional and Modern Arabic scripts, He’s also an Art scholar and holds an honorary doctorate from Germany cultural center in Beirut. Since 1987, He has participated in countless exhibitions and Festivals and been awarded multiple prizes. His work appears on Tunisian currency and on the walls of 6 mosques in his native land. A recipient of the medal for cultural excellence, He’s also an honorary member of Arabic Calligraphy Associations in Tunisia, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco and Iraq.
