Narej Noureddine, born in 1975, has been practicing calligraphy since 2000 and is a graduate of Zayed university in Interior design. Her work has been recognized with awards from IRCICA in 2004 in Istanbul and in Algeria’s International cultural calligraphy festival in 2011. Her art ranges from calligraphy plates, to modern paintings, and sculptures. Her work is on display all around UAE in museums and towers, namely her calligraphy murals in the Women’s museum and her chandelier in Sharjah Museum and dozens more. She also recently integrated her calligraphic art in an opera based on the poem “how beautiful the world is” by Sheikh Zayed. She has been involved in numerous exhibitions and workshops.
