Mohammad Ebrahim Bashiti

Mohammed Ibrahim Bahsiti was born in 1986 in Syria. He is a student of master calligraphers Majed Khayyate and Abdul Karim Darvish, and has received master’s certificates from these two great professors in two styles of calligraphy. His work has been presented in numerous exhibitions, especially in his home country of Syria, and in 2005 he participated in calligraphy of the world’s largest Koran. Mohammad Bahsiti is the winner of the Golden Prize for Calligraphers of the Islamic World in Tehran in 2002 and the 2nd International Calligraphy Award in 2004 and 2007 in Lahore, as well as the 2005 Barakat Bank Of Turkey Competitions Award. He was one of the winners of the Arsica Calligraphy Competition in Istanbul in 2007 and 2016 and has also been participated in other international competitions and has received many awards. From 2009 to 2016, he participated in the Ramadan Society of Dubai in the calligraphy of the Holy Quran.
