Mohammad Safar Bati

  • Mohammad Saffar Bati was born in Algeria in 1971. He holds a bachelor’s degree in educational psychology and an honorary doctorate from the German Cultural Center and holds the Dr. Mohammad Sharifi Calligraphy Award from Algeria. He is one of the founders of the Algerian Calligraphy Club in 2020 and one of the calligraphers of the inscriptions of the Algerian Grand Mosque in 2018. Mustafa Saffar Bati has received numerous awards from 1997 to 2012 with a continuous participation in the Arsika International Calligraphy Championships, as well as the first prize of the 2007 Moroccan “Prophet of Kindness” competition and the first prize of the Algerian International Festival in 2010 and 2011. Other prestigious awards include the 2008 Damascus International Calligraphy Association Award and the 2008 Ramadan Society’s First Prize in The Calligraphy of the Qur’an in Dubai from 2011 to 2016. He has participated in numerous exhibitions in Iran, China, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Maghreb, Tunisia, Qatar, Syria, Lebanon and Algeria.
