Mir Hossein Zanozi

Master Mir Hossein Zanozi, a renowned Iranian contemporary calligrapher, was born in 1950 in Tabriz, Iran. He studied calligraphy under the supervision of Master Amirkhani and other prominent calligraphers.  He holds a master’s degree from the Calligraphers` Association of Iran and is a member of the Supreme Council of Iranian Calligraphers Association. He has been engaged the managing and chairing of Tabriz Calligraphy Association and works in the calligraphers` association of Iran to teach calligraphy. Master Zanozi has published over 10 books about calligraphy. He has organized several individual and group exhibitions indoor and abroad including Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, and Turkey and has honored for his valuable artistic work in several international festivals.
