Chinese artist Guagiang Mi, known professionally as Haji Noor Deen is a renowned figure in Arabic calligraphy. Born in 1963 in the Shandong province, He was the first Chinese individual to be awarded the certificate of Arabic calligrapher in Egypt. His work has been acquired and displayed in the British Museum and He’s been named among the “Top 500 Most Influential Muslims” in the past decade by Georgetown University, USA. He is the recipient of countless other accolades and currently focuses on research and Arabic Calligraphy theory.
