Bahman Panahi

Born in Tehran in 1967 and based in Paris, Bahman Panahi grew up surrounded by elements of Iranian culture and art. He learned calligraphy under the direction of many great masters, Gholam Hossein Amirkhani, Yadollahi Kaboli and Abdollah Foradi. His love of calligraphy and Music combined in his doctoral thesis at Sorbonne University titled “Musicalligraphy: The Musicality of lines and points”. He’s active in the art scene with exhibitions, lectures and festivals around the world and has been invited to speak and teach at Harvard University, Northeastern University and many more.
