Safdar Hussain Raja

Pakistani calligraphy artist Safdar Hussain Raja, who works under the pen name Arif-ul-Qalam, was born in 1972. He trained in the Nastaliq, Naskh, Thuluth, Riqa and Diwani styles of Islamic calligraphy under Qibla Muhammad Khalid Javad Youssefi. He has participated in many exhibitions including National exhibition of Calligraphy at the Pakistan National Council of Arts in 2011 and in 2017 in the International calligraphy exhibition co-sponsored by Pakistan Ministry of Language and Cultural Heritage and IRCICA institute in Turkey.
