Ali Ghirmizli

Ali Ghirmizli was born in 1970 in Syria and is one of the masters of calligraphy who has trained many students in the art, most notably Turkish calligrapher Zaki al-Hashmi Uglu. So far in 2011, 2014 and 2017, he has attended the IRCICA International Calligraphy Competition in Istanbul. Ali Ghirmizli also participated in the Algerian International Calligraphy Festival in 2010, 2011 and 2014 and the programs of “Algeria, the Cultural Capital of Islamic Countries”. Ali Ghirmizli is one of the calligraphers of the inscriptions of the Grand Mosque of Algeria and one of the restorations of historical mosques in Turkey
