Ali Shirazi

Iranian calligrapher Ali Shirazi was born in 1960 and took up calligraphy as a teenager. He later learned under Gholam Hossein Amirkhani. A Council member at Iran calligraphers society, Shirazi has been involved with exhibitions around the world including in Greece, Morocco, Tajikistan, among others. His work is on display in museums and included in private collections. In 1997 the President of Iran gifted 45 of Shirazi’s original works to heads of member states of the Islamic Conference. He’s a certified master of Iran Calligraphers Society
