Abdol Razzaq Mohammad

Syrian calligraphy artist Abdul Razak Mohammed Mahmoud was born in 1980 in Syria. He holds a diploma in applied arts with a calligraphy and a design diploma from the Damascus Informatic Center. He has participated in various calligraphy exhibitions and has received numerous awards from prestigious world competitions. Among the most important awards are the 2007 Istanbul International Calligraphy Competition Award, the 2nd Prestigious Arsica Award in 2010, the Sharjah Awards in 2008 and 2009, the third prize of the International Calligraphy Competition by Barakat Bank in 2010. Istanbul in 2012 and 2018, kuwait’s second prize of comprehensive calligraphy competitions in 2012, the third prize of the 2012 Kamaluddin Ehsanoglu Competition in Turkey and the first prize of the same tournament in 2013, the first prize of the competition Saudi Calligraphy noted in 2014 and the second prize of the same tournament in 2018.
