Merve Nur Kayhan Hassan

Turkish calligraphy artist Merve Nur Kayhan Hassan was born in 1991 and learned her craft in Konya and later Istanbul. She refined her skills under the tutelage of some of the most renowned Turkish calligraphers, namely Davut Bektas, Ali Toy and Huseyin Oksuz. She was instrumental in a restoration job at Suleyman the Magnificent library, where some of the greatest works of Islamic art are stored. She specializes in the Modern Kufi style of calligraphy.
